MEMBERSHIP
Pearl River Co. Community Band is actively seeking new volunteer members and accepts members from a variety of musical backgrounds. The Director assigns players to the appropriate section and the Section Leader determines which part a member plays within that section. 

High school and college band members are encouraged to join us, as we give scholarships to our members who are entering or already attending a college or university. 

NO DUES
To help support the functioning of the band, and to keep membership costs free for all members, we ask each member to volunteer their help with fundraisers at least one time during the calendar year. All funds raised go into the band's general fund to host events and to purchase new equipment, music, and other essential items.

REHEARSALS

Rehearsals take place in the fall and spring. Members receive a rehearsal schedule prior to the start of each season. During each season, the Pearl River Co. Community Band rehearses weekly on Tuesdays from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM in Carriere, MS.
